The second-gen i20 debuted at the Paris Motor Show as a five-door hatch, but the three-door coupe is far more attractive with a more rakish roofline, beefier wheel arches, rear-mounted spoiler and dynamic styling.
Four engines range from a 74-hp 1.1-liter diesel to a 100-hp 1.4-liter gasoline unit. In refreshing the Ford Focus-sized i30, Hyundai unveiled a new i30 Turbo that comes packing a 1.6-liter turbo-four unit rated at 183 hp, available exclusively as a hatchback with a manual box. The rest of the i30 lineup will be available as a three- or five-door hatch, and a wagon. Hyundai has also refreshed the Fusion-sized i40, which comes with refined exterior styling, a revamped front end, and new alloys. It also receives an upgraded cabin with new toys, and a new 1.7-liter diesel unit rated at 113 or 139 horsepower. The i40 comes as a sedan or wagon, with a choice of six-speed manual and seven-speed DCT transmissions.
